In an independent trial undertaken by the respected trade publications Koneviesti from Finland, Trekker from the Netherlands, Bedre Gårdsdrift from Norway, and TraktorTech from Denmark, Valtra’s autoguidance capabilities and user interface were found to be the best of all systems tested.

A total of seven tractors were assessed: a Valtra Q285, Massey Ferguson 8S.285 Dyna-VT, John Deere 6R250 AutoPowr, New Holland T7.300, Claas Axion 870 Cmatic, and McCormick X8.631. Valtra’s Q Series came out on top, scoring a total of 43.5 points compared to 40.1 for the next closest tractor and 33.6 points for the poorest result.

Valtra Guide offers two ways of working. With GO! Mode you can simply and easily adjust the implement working width on the SmartTouch touchscreen, record an A B wayline by driving, and continue using Valtra Guide. In a review, respected trade magazine Koneviesti observed that Valtra Guide was the easiest guidance system they tested. They noted that with Valtra Guide Go! Mode, it only took 7-8 screen presses to get started, compared to some other manufacturers' models which took as many as 34 individual keystrokes to select an implement, field parcel, and create a way line.

Valtra’s Wayline Assistant is available for G Series Active, N, and T Series, HiTech, Active, Versu, and Direct models and all Q and S Series! Create several waylines with the touch of a button based on your field boundary. Set up is incredibly easy. In a review of different tractor brands' autoguidance, it was demonstrated that with Valtra Guide, a wayline can be set up with as few as 7-8 taps of the Valtra SmartTouch interface.

Valtra Wayline Assistant adds the wayline types Segmented Wayline and Single Contour to the existing wayline types.
