New Distribution Arrangements in Sweden, Denmark and Norway
14.06.2005AGCO, a world leading manufacturer and distributor of agricultural machinery, is pleased to announce that it is strengthening its distribution arrangements for Valtra and Fendt in Scandinavia.
The news follows the completion of a Distribution Agreement with Lantmännens Maskinimport AB (LMB) to distribute Valtra and Fendt equipment in Sweden and Valtra equipment in Norway and Denmark. The new distribution arrangements are expected to be completed before the end of 2005.
Gary Collar, Senior Vice President and General Manager for AGCO Europe, Africa, Middle East said,
“AGCO’s new distribution arrangements with LMB will enable us to strengthen still further the quality of customer support that Valtra offers in Sweden, Denmark and Norway and Fendt in Sweden. AGCO has announced that it is considerably increasing its machine research and design activities and we expect Valtra and Fendt to benefit from those new product developments. LMB’s appointment will provide an experienced and quality customer care operation to match the quality of our Valtra and Fendt products and support the plans we have for further growth across the Swedish, Danish and Norwegian markets”.

LMB has well over 30 years experience in the farm machinery business since the Company began commercial operations as SLR Machinery in Stockholm on 1968. LMB established distribution of farm machinery in Denmark and Norway in 1993.
Valtra products will be distributed through LMB’s existing Swedish, Danish and Norwegian Distribution operation.
