Valtra expands T Series line of tractors
21.09.2004Valtra is introducing new models in the T Series line of tractors.
The new T Series models offer all the benefits of classic six-cylinder Valtra tractors combined with fresh design. The all-round performance of the T Series has now been further enhanced, allowing customers to choose from a number of hydraulic and transmission options that best suit their implement needs.
The T Series was originally designed to introduce a range of tractors to the market with advanced programmable hydraulics, allowing the most modern implements to be utilised. The new T Series models offer the strongest performance needed, for example, in heavy pulling work.
In addition to electronic hydraulic management, the Valtra T Series is now also available with mechanical hydraulic management, producing an output of 70-73 l/min depending on model. The hydraulic output of models equipped with load sensing electronic hydraulic management is 90 l/min.
There are also three transmission options: a 12 + 12 synchronised transmission with mechanical forward-reverse shuttle; a 36 + 36 Powershift transmission with three programmable gears; and a 36 + 36 Powershift transmission equipped with programmable forward-reverse shuttle, which also includes an electronic parking brake. Valtra’s HiShift button-controlled clutch comes as either standard or optional equipment, depending on model. All engines feature electronic engine management, and the engine capacity is either 6.6 or 7.4 litres.
The expanded line of T Series tractors now features new mudguards, offering improved protection for the cabin glass and steps. The mudguards can also be adjusted to suit different tyre sizes. The soundproofing of the cabin has also been improved.
