08.11.2009

The start of the Agritechnica exhibition in Hanover, Germany, was lively. A lot of customers, journalists, business partners and other guests visited the Valtra stand on the first exhibition day. The first two days of the seven day exhibition have traditionally been exclusive days, but this year the guests range from farmers to potential suppliers.

Valtra’s stand has been popular during the first day of the Agritechnica fair.

- Valtra’s stand is good. It is surprisingly large and tractors are located spaciously, says Theodor Vechtel visiting Valtra stand.

Vechtel is a farmer from Harsewinkel, some hundred kilometres west from Hanover. Together with his son Jörg, Vechtel produces pigs and potatoes. There is a Valtra N111 HiTech taking care of all field jobs.

Agritechnica is the most important, and probably biggest, exhibition for agricultural machinery in the world. Valtra’s stand is located in hall 9, stand E21, near the Southern entrance. Valtra stand is located on 995 square-metres floor-space featuring ten tractors and various info booths such as the Direct demo cab, Auto-Guide² automatic steering and a cross-cut stepless Direct transmission. As a concept for the future Valtra features Valtra LH AutoLink automated front implement hitching and EcoPTO system. Different tasks like forestry, grassland farming and municipality contracting are highlighted with specially equipped tractors with implements.

The Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany is open from Sunday 8th November to Saturday 14th November 9-18 o´clock.
