Even Typhoon cannot stop Valtra tractors in China
27.05.2008Typhoon Neoguri, No.1 of 2008, landed in China on April 17th. At the same time, a batch of 53 Valtra T171h Tractors was also making its way to China.
The 53 Valtra T171 HiTech tractors were warmly welcomed in Dalian.
These 53 tractors made up the first consignment of a total deal for 109 tractors. The tractors targeted to arrive at Dalian in April. However, Typhoon Neoguri delayed its arrival by almost 1 month. At the same time, the users of these tractors were expecting these tractors urgently to complete the spring operation. With the user’s urgent need in mind, 5 staff of AGCO China hurried to Dalian to finish the assembling and checking work of 53 tractors right after the tractors arrived in May. With such a tight schedule and so heavy the workload, it is obvious to anyone of the difficulty of the task. However, with 1 and half days of hard work of everyone of the small team, the installation work of the 53 tractors had been successfully finished.
When Valtra tractors were handed over to the users in the field, they ignited the fireworks long prepared to welcome their new tractors happily. Like welcoming the bride in a traditional Chinese wedding, users banded red silk ribbon on each new tractor and drove their tractors back home. The next day, the Valtra tractors started working in the field.
The leaders of the Heilongjiang General Bureau of State-farms were very satisfied with the professionalism of AGCO. They highly praised the training given before the tractor arrived and the preparation that we had done for the transportation of the tractors. Now, the first 56 Valtra tractors have successfully finished spring operation. Users have all given big hands with satisfaction to Valtra tractors’ performance and conformability.
