High Performance Hydraulics S-Series hydraulics are designed to cope with modern harvesting, soil cultivation and sowing technology. Electrically controlled power lifts, with a lifting capacity of 10 tonnes in the rear and 7.5 tonnes at the front specifically designed with a number of features to meet the requirements of efficient working with heavy duty mounted or trailed
implements.
Power lifts for heavy duty use
Besides the normal lowering speed, upper position adjustment, quick lowering and position/draft force control, the rear power lift has a slip control for weight transfer from implement to the tractor rear wheels. Also the S – Series rear power lift has a pressure control for lightening the implement weight in working position. Drive balance control with adjustable activating speed gives more comfort and protection when transporting heavy implements.
The optional front power lift has an ample 7,5 tons lifting capacity with adjustable lowering and lifting speeds, adjusting the lower position, the transport height and pressure adjusting are the same as the rear linkage.
The versatile features in power lifts make it easy to operate with implements like wide power harrow – drill combination in the rear and a hopper or packer or tine cultivator mounted to the front linkage. Balanced weight distribution, and ballasting also allows combinations of front mounted and trailed implements without risking the pulling capacity or stability in road transport.
Outperforming auxiliary hydraulics
The auxiliary hydraulics includes seven fully programmable two-way valve blocks and two of them can optionally be switched to serve the front mounted implements. In case there is need for exceptionally high hydraulic power, e.g. for hydraulic motor, S-Series tractors are equipped with high output Power Beyond oil supply. Programming all hydraulic functions including front and rear power lift is done via the Tractor Terminal. In addition to the seven valve blocks it is possible to pre-program three of these valves to have a second function. For example the valves 4 and 5, which can be switched to operate in the front, can have a different setting from when they are used to the rear. Both ports of the valve can be programmed separately.
In the auxiliary hydraulics menu of the Tractor Terminal it is possible to see and also to set the flow rate on line. Time of supply, floating position and constant supply can also be set by the Tractor Terminal. Once programmed, these memorised functions can be activated by a pre-set button next to the joystick or lever when this is first moved to its maximum position.The reaction of the valve to the movement of the joystick or the lever can be adjusted from completely linear to more progressive. In a more progressive reaction the lever movement near the middle of the centre point causes only very limited opening of the valve.The travel speed dependent flow rate can be activated the same way after setting the requested values in the relevant menu of the Tractor Terminal.
